This quote can today be applied to the whole planet and I hope persons do not feel hopeless or inadequate once they understand it to be part of the process of change. Nature in its basic form also follows a logical sequence under the process of Natural Selection/Survival of the Fittest. The fact that we are in a Climate Crisis speaks to this fact. But the fact that we are in a Climate Crisis also speaks to other crises. This is also the way of Nature, there is never a single issue that forms a crisis. These multiple issues must also be dealt with simultaneously to solve a single crisis.
The intellect (both IQ & EQ) of the human race, which may be expressed within DNA that is passed from generation to generation, seems to be faulty. Is this a result of educational systems and the various factors including injustices that are responsible for their less than adequate state? Is it a result of our customs and belief systems which are forms of education, and are also passed from generation to generation? Does it lie at the heart of the spiritual realm of Nature, where too far right is left?
If Nature is left to do what it must, many lives will be lost and eventually Nature will start towards achieving a more balanced state of itself on Earth. As we continue to talk about Climate Change, or believe that youths not technically trained in solutions must have the verbal and visual answers, or believe that funds available must reach certain pockets before reaching those working on solutions without a valid/helpful reason, or believe that the intellects and spirits of Humans are not generally faulty… we will continue to fuel the Climate Crisis of today and any other crisis.
